Advice to win more games

Today I was playing a game and I was being destroyed as Riven top by a Darius. Long story short, after the 3rd death in a row, I was tilted. A lot. And at that point, I just remembered the piece of advice I had heard so many times and I had watched so many videos about. In fact, I could remember that advice all along, but it was at that moment that I really thought I should follow it. Don't. Tilt. By then, Darius had beat me in everything - farmwise and killwise. So I relaxed entirely, and thought to myself I'd be as concentrated as possible and try to outplay him. Surely enough, I did. Having asked for a little help from the jungler, I managed to get a kill on him. Then I farmed, and farmed. I ended up with a score of 11/4/13 and 238 farm. And I got the 4 deaths before getting any kills. In conclusion, when you're having these moments of "We'll lose for sure", "We can't win", "Surr at 20", etc, just try to relax for a second and play the best way you can. Don't feel tilted at all, it's hard, but if you put your mind into it, you can make it happen. Just for a reference, the score was 4 - 20 at some point. 3 of my teammates wanted to surrender, but I and someone else didn't. The game ended 35 - 33.

Tilting isn't voluntary; people can't just decide "I'm not tilted anymore" and immediately play better.

For every one game where you manage to come back from being owned, there will be nineteen where you don't. It's nice to always try and be positive but I'm pragmatic. If a games looks like a ff@20 kind of game, there's a one in twenty chance it's not.

Best advice I've ever received:

You don't need to be the hero

If you aren't doing great, just identify whoever is and do your best to enable them and let them carry you.
