Serious bussiness with AP Sivir

So you can call me mad but as I just love playing off meta champions and builds, I've recently come up with a new viable strategy.

Sivir's Q scales with 0.5 AP in one way, 1.0 AP total, deals physical damage. The rest of her kit excluding W (which is btw a AA reset) does not scale with anything.

**The strategy is following: **

Be annoying.
Poke em with Q for half their health.
Never agressive, only disengage.
When they're low, run em down and kill them.

I like - I used to play AD LB before the rework due to its insane split potential.

The reworked LB is better at splitting so I just built her AP Top if I happen to roll top that game.

But this makes me want to try AD again.

have you considered trying a more aa heavy or hybrid build with maybe item 3115 or item 3124 ? or are you intent on going as poke-based as possible?

Yes, I tried Nashor in Training mode and my conclusion is that I'd build it if the game needed it from me or switch Morello with it on full build.

Am I? Never went negative score (and I'm still trying to find the most effective way), I'd NEVER try new things like this in ranked and I doubt I'd taky it to ranked even if I was confident with it, I again never went negative score and as the last thing: if I went 0/15 noone including me could ever doubt it wasn't my fault. But it wasn't, because I didn't go 0/15 and I don't play rankeds.

Someone tried going AP sivir mid against me and ended up doing shitty because it didnt really offer much but push power so it was a farm lane and I just farmed and outscaled her.

I don't really see how this is practical at all. Just because you had a couple of good games doesn't mean it's good or viable.

If you miss your Q, then you literally have nothing left to defend yourself with because your auto attacks won't be doing damage, and your Q also costs a good bit of mana so if you're spamming it you're gonna run OOM quick and can't get it back with ER like you can with a normal sivir build.

You clearly don't understand the strategy at all. It's not all the extremely meta effective strategy, it's a fun strategy and you don't play like the normal Sivir at all.

Just because you had a couple of good games doesn't mean it's good or viable.

The same logic applies here. If someone lost one game against you doesn't mean it's a bad or unviable strategy.

I did nowhere mention AAs except that W's an AA reset - which helps with farming and early trades - but other than that you don't need nor them, you are a mage.

Uhm, why exactly? I never ran out of mana ever with her unless roaming without backing for like five minutes straight. These two abilities literally don't scale at all with anything, the build means no difference.
