im not sure how to express this but the game feels alien to me now, nothing i had fun doing feels like it works. as much as i like the game i am for the first time considering quitting. can someone make me want to play again?

I'm right there with you. I want to love this game and be interested in it like I have been for the last 5-6 years, but I can't seem to find it in me anymore.
Take a break for a few months, come back for next season.
I'm going to enjoy the time off by getting out and doing some shit. :D
