The next event: Targon Vs the void?

It That Kills·2/26/2016, 2:11:22 AM·4 votes·1,364 views

Just based off of the end story for Diana in the lore and the creatures she killed i believe that those were void spawn. they meet my criteria for the void which is 1. Evolution: they changed color and their entire bodies to fight 2.Mindless predators: they clearly weren't sentient but their hunger drove them 3. Purple coloring: typical of the void even though they started out white maybe that's how many voidlings begin in this world as the void is a dark place and thus they would have little to no coloring. Additionally look at he part where it mentions a veil to another world being closed.

I thought that the creatures were voidspawn as well. We know that Mt. Targon is near a desert (see Pantheon's lore) and the only desert that we know of is the Shuriman Desert which has a portal to the Void.

I'm not sure it's the void unless we're also getting a big void overhaul.

Most of the void creatures we've seen are capable of thought. Vel'koz is a scientist. Cho is capable of plotting and uses intimidation. Kha intelligently retreated from Rengar when wounded. The only one from the void that's mindless are like Malz's voidlings, which are basically animals, and Rek'Sai, who is queen of the animals. A Rioter said somewhere than Vel would probably run from Reksai if they met up because she's like a bear to us.

The Targon creatures are more like freakish abominations spawned by some eldritch deity. In leona's they're described as "ferocious beasts, inhuman entities and pallid, eyeless strangers that came down the mountain." That doesn't seem very voidy to me imo. If you wanted it to seem voidy you'd probably say demonic beings and then mention their cunning and inteligence rather than solely focusing on their alien bodies.
