Can we buff this guy? He's definitely in a really bad spot right now, having a terrible lane phase and only being good 50 minutes in. I don't really know how, maybe put his silence back on to 1 second, or at least increase his damages a bit more.
I understand why he was nerfed, but I feel like Riot just gutted him completely instead of fixing the things that should've been fixed.
The Issue with kassadin is that his damage is fairly reliable and he has lots of mobility so when you increase his damage he becomes problematic Its really awkward to balance kassadin to be honest.

I think Kass. is terrible even though he's seen some competitive play. I think AP Ez. is insanely overrated but I'd much rather have an AP Ez. on my team (unless he's facing Kass.). Kass. just lacks the damage he needs until very late. I literally bullied a level-6 Kass. with equal CS as a KARTHUS. That's just hilarious and it's not like I was fed or it was an exception. Kass. is melee and has no poke so he should definitely have higher burst than he does or at least a bigger shield.
His base damages are lower than most AP supports and his scalings are mediocre at best. Granted he has a ton of mobility but that got nerfed super hard. If you go RoA first item you won't 100-0 anyone until 40 minutes into the game if even possible at all. Not the definition of an Assassin tbh. Maybe the new AP items will change a bit, we will see
he should have his damage re ewaluated
right now his kit encourages you to spam riftwalks to deal damage ... while discouraging you from spamming riftwalks to be able to run
if his mana regen on w would also increase with the stacks it could work ... but right now his ult creates some contradictions gamepla wise
If Kassadin's ever in a "good" spot, I hear, he becomes OP. But he'll always feel weak if he isn't stomping.

Honestly, I wasn't around when Kassadin had a silence, and I really don't care. I don't think a silence is what he needs. Every matchup is an uphill battle, for very little reward.I think his identity is what is hurting him. He's nowhere the anti-mage Veigar is, and I think it conflicts with his gameplay of a hound of war that can pursue you to the ends of the earth. I'd honestly rather see a larger shield on Q than a silence
