Not another CS Bounty thread.....

Seriously! Not the same as what you have read before! :) So basically, what I think happened here is that they want to stop uninteractive farming to make the game "more exciting." Even though I feel this is a fallacy and a bad business model, there are things that I believe the balance team (I am trying to be fair to them) did not consider. Primarily, one of the main things that good roaming champions do is put pressure on other lanes if you are against a passive opponent that wants to farm.

Also, there are a lot of champions that are exceptionally good at turret diving/ganking or that facilitate these types of plays. From Tahm Kench to Kayle to Kindred to Swain even. And I think that this was forgotten initially in creating that system and I think that is part of the problem with them existing. Not only are you penalized for playing safe in a matchup you cannot win in lane but it becomes even more dangerous to stop these types of champions. The multiple ways this causes problems in the game were not considered. Not to mention the insanely bad algorithm for it.

There are other things for this, of course, but I think that this was something that is overlooked even by most of the proponents of the system. Thoughts? item 3400

Incorrect. Riot themselves explicitly stated it was so that it would more accurately represent total gold advantage.

Someone who's 0/0/1 with 160 CS is arguably going to be stronger than someone who's 3/0/0 with only 40 CS. The only bounty system, however, would just reward the guy with the gold advantage for killing the other guy, which is the exact opposite of what the bounty system was meant to do.

What Riot says and what Riot does are not the same thing. Riot once said they do not pick the meta. But there is a "World's Patch" and there are patches that directly change the way the game is played such as the gutting of ADCs last year. Just because someone says something does not mean it is correct. Such as buffing champions when an expensive skin will be coming out as a good example.

Then the very second sentence you said is completely irrelevant.

So instead of accepting the truth of what is actually said and done, you pick out one line and refuse to see that it is backed up by the second line? Interesting way of saying someone is wrong.
