How is 1 division difference so palpable?

I've been bouncing back and forth between gold 1 and gold 2 for like 5 times now and honestly the caliber of players between gold 1 and 2 is disgustingly noticeable. When i get back in gold 1, everyone is trolling, losing their lane, and derping around like they dont know how to play the game. However, in gold 2 everything is about business, people rotate efficiently and generally play their lane to a different degree. How can going UP a division bring the quality of players down so much? Does anyone else notice this? Just curious. Its not just a coincidence, honestly, now its a pattern after 5 times bouncing back and forth. Ill win into gold 1, lose 3 games in a row, then back down to gold 2 where the good players are.

Same thing in plat. You can get actual good teams between 5-3, but once you hit 2, it all goes downhill. lol

This, friend, is why I don't try and climb past G3. I have heard so many people say that there are more trolls in plat than anything else. Just get to Gold for the free skin. [slayer-jinx-catface] [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
