I'm steering away from ranked until this meta changes

It really, really blows. Your team never has an actual ADC unless it's lucian, ezreal, mf or kai'sa, because anything else gets demolished and one shot mid game. I'm fine with the bruisers being picked bot. However, bruisers still feel underwhelming, not because they are weak against marksman, but because assassins do their job better. They can burst faster, harder, and get out easier. They are also much, much stronger in their respective lane. Just try playing someone like jax into a tank/ranged top laner early game, see what I mean, then try playing assassins mid against other classes.

Hell, I don't even play them often and when I picked one up I felt like I had a way bigger impact than i've had on champions who I know how to play once I hit my powerspikes. I just did damage to everyone, and was able to get out afterwords. I miss being able to play mages mid without wanting to tear my hair out. Yes, I know it's possible, but in practice it sucks. I'm not bad enough to eat damage for free, but i'm also good enough to know that I for the most part don't win trades(unless the assassins obviously mess up big time by wasting abilities on the wave while being in a position to take damage), so i'm forced to back off of all the cs and wait until it crashes into my tower, in which the assassins get to roam for free.

I tried to play top so I could avoid the mid lane meta, but because assassins are the most played mids they either stomp and win quickly or get stomped and lose quickly. I know that I could win more by playing assassins or tanks(assassins's natural counter), but I don't enjoy playing either class. Instead, i'm just going to stop playing ranked until the meta shifts, and maybe even take a break from the game until it changes.
