No URF on URF Day :(
I'm honestly a bit saddened by this, not what I wanted to wake up to.
Riot said that sometimes when URF is out, people stop playing League. Well guess what, those people don't HAVE to play URF, it's an optional mode. Sure, even I would get bored with it for a week nonstop, but I think that's reasonable. However, I would find joy in playing this for 5-6 hours every week, at least a match a day. I wish, more than anything, that a majority of our rotating game modes could be emulated with custom game settings. I would love a way for us to implement different win conditions, so people could make more obscure modes (like Find The Teemo) a possibility. If custom games were more verbose, then Riot could delegate their resources for rotating modes on:
- Implementing large scale projects like Star Guardian
- Improving custom game modules so new types of modes can be designed by the players.
I used to look forward to URF Day every year because of League, and for the first time in a while, I feel like I've had that taken away by force from the people who used to care about it most.
