Do i need to use unlocked camera to be good
I have been playing this game for a while now and I play on locked camera I tried unlocked but I'm horrible at it any tips ?

No, you just need better map awareness and make sure, if you are playing someone who has a dash, if you try to flash-dash, you hit it (it is harder to flash-dash with a locked screen)
I keep it locked during most of the game, but I got good at clicking on the map and watching Important things when I want to see something. Some champions you kinda do need to play unlocked like jhin and caitlyn, but most champions you can play locked as long as you keep map awareness and watch enemies you're walking into so you know what abilities they have ready
its all preference however, being able to pan effectively is important especially since the minimap could be a little misleading in terms of distance etc. If you pan you can react to the enemy a little earlier, if you are locked then you are reacting as soon as they are on your screen which could be deadly for you especially if you are a squishy adc.
Not really, it's just a preference. The main reason people play unlocked is to be able to look around while they are moving, but if you have good map awareness, you can play locked and be fine.
I freaking hate Unlocked. I always end up messing up and missing skill shots and things like that when I use it. So ever since the beginning I've used unlocked. now I do use the Y button to change occasionally. Like when playing xerath, and cait, ziggs, varus. Long range champ. but whenever I finish using whatever I had to swap for, Im back on locked. Im a gold player, so I cant say you could get to diamond, youll need to ask high elo for that. but I know for sure you can get gold with it.
Do what I did and make spacebar your toggle camera lock button. You get the best of both worlds that way
