It's been explained a billion times at this point.
Because I'm pretty sure riot's sick of everyone's whining about it.
"Wahhh we want urff!!!"
"Wahhh We hate urf for whatever reason this time!"
so y did they get rid of it
Bronze player is the real reazon. They complain that URF has a meta, and since in bronze you can't adapt to a meta, they complain.
