Does Rank flex help you get placed in a higher rank

I find flex a waste of time, placed LOW bronze even though i was mid silver S6, now every game i play has either an afk or a heavy feeder and flamer. So this climb is going to be impossible. Even my plat and higher friends placed B1 and lower. WTF? Its supposed to place you based on your S6 mmr not new mmr. Even after I won 6/10 of my placements with a performance of A+ and higher I still placed B3

I find flex queue horrible for me , since i'm not a good player (silver4). But these games in bronze flex are just hell, sona adc, draven and yasuo jungle, a kayle that rather goes for blue buff instead of defending 2 inhibs.

To me its impossible since i'm not good enough to go 10/0 in lane and stomp the game.

But yeah I'm just gonna use it now to try out new things and have some fun

ITS total Boolshet if you platium gold ir higer you only lose your head bicause you wil get in team bronze unranked players and its rly dont helps you win .... and I'am F........ Angry..... bicause I just noticed after 6 Games.

what does mmr mean ?

There will be a soft reset at the end of preseason, but games played during preseason will still impact your mmr, and since it's a soft reset rather than hard reset, it'll impact your placements.

can someone explain to me how I know people who finished their 10 flex ranked games 5/5 and get places in g5, but when i go 7/3 i get placed in g5... I also have a friend that went 9/1 and was placed in plat 2. Throughout my ranked flex games and regular solo/duo games i play with mid plat people, but why was i placed in g5?

For me, I'm kinda enjoying flex tbh. I ended plat 5 and when I did my flex i won 6 out of 10 and was placed in gold 3. I won some games, got into promo, won promo and they jumped me a division so now I'm in gold 1. The fun part for me is that all my games have more diamonds than plats so it serves as a good way to improve. But I am a rare case because I know people who are higher Elo than me and have been placed low gold in flex.

the flex ranked mmr doenst effect your solo queue mmr, when the season starts your ranked position in flex que will get resettet so u are unranked again but u keep the flex queue mmr for your placements and your solo queue mmr for your placements but both with a soft reset

It only will effect your MMR for flex queue, so if you decide you are going to play flex queue next season, it would be a good idea to MMR grind it.
