Worst mechanic in the game in your opinion?
I'm going to go with blind. Dodge was removed but blind wasn't, to top it off items that countered blind were removed from the game.

I agree with this RNG/psudo RNG stat that makes lanes and games won or lost based on something out of a players control while all other RNG was removed. Games should not be decided because that sivir with 20% crit chance got 3 crits in a row. It is not an outplay stat, it is a luck stat.

I used to play Miss Fortune a lot and went for some early crit. As a lane bully I'd just prod at the enemy occasionally while csing. If nothing happened fine, but if I crit I'd insta all in and GG.
Both her passive and her ultimate
Also, Blind is NOT RNG like Dodge and one of the forms of CC that should have been WAY more popular Blind is one of the weakest forms of CC around 1 - Doesn't stop the enemy 2 - Doesn't prevent them from using abilities 3 - Only REALLY affects a small number of enemies in the entire game

Actually blind does prevent some abilities. By prevent I mean the abilities "miss" so not really prevent so much as ruin them entirely.
Resets are cancer
Because blind isn't a passive stat unlike dodge.
I find all mechanics to be perfectly fine, what's not fine is some combination of them in a single spell.
If I had any gripes, it would be on knockups, because it's unaffected by tenacity and it's like all the cc Riot releases lately. They surely hate melee dudes.
Knockup
The worst mechanic is anything that gives you something different on kills than assists. Like I think some champion gets cooldowns or something reduced when getting kills but only gets half as much for assists or something like that. I really don't like the idea of you should try to let them get kills even endgame when they're full build or something just so they get their bigger bonus.
Crit
Knockups and their invincibility.
Blind is fine in my opinion. There are few enough of them that it's not difficult to tell why you got blinded and when to expect it. Least you can keep moving while blinded, unlike... Knockups.
Better than stuns in every way. Clutters the field with champs going all over my depth of view. Oh, and they can't be QSS'd nor reduced by Tenacity, a mechanic designed to counter CC.
Crit is fine in my opinion as well. Probably just because Crit is just a video game trope I've come to accept as universal. Sure it'd be nice if Crit was reworked to be consistent but I don't feel it's necessary in the slightest.
Displacements. (ie knockups, knockbacks, ect...)
Dashes.
Blinds and silences do the same thing. Both are balanced. Crit and dodge on the other hand are not.
Blinds and silences DO NOT do the same thing. Blinded champions can still attack, and if they have (some) on-hit effects attached to their AAs, those effects will still be successfully applied to the enemy. Silenced champions cannot use abilities at all, and so no on-spell or on-cast effects will be applied.
For comparison to something that is more like a silence, see Entangle (ie. Silence+Root/Snare, but for AAs)
Blinks.
At least with most dashes or leaps you can interrupt them or stop them by CC'ing them during the animation, but with Blinks you can't do that.
Criticals.
Also Kalista.
Untargetability, most precisely
. Its ScarkillsMufasa-level disgusting.
Crits (even though I play GP, I would still be in favor of a crit rework)
Vayne's true damage still irks me. I know she can be stopped from using her 3rd auto-attack thanks to her range, but it is still stupid that it scales with your enemy's HP.
As a former Veigar player I also despise mobility in general, most especially champions with more than 1 gap closer

This thread is reminding me of other things that bug me, not being able to target champs during certain abilities sucks, most champs that drop burst can be countered by "stun" when you can't target them all you can do is wait.
Worst mechanic... trolls :p
