In my opinion Yorick is much less fun to play and play against. I would enjoy a little love for the jester

I don't understand the Ryze rework, he just had a gameplay rework last year.
Its because he's still consistently a problem to balance and also needs a VU.
So they're just going to do both.
Also I believe these are 2 different groups (same overall team) working at the same time. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though.
coeurloyal1 votesYorick is less fun to play/play against, but he's getting worked on at the same time as Ryze. They have three different functioning bodies within ChampUp; there's never one individual project running at a time. That being said, Yorick has been in production for so long because his previous rework got iced for a while. He also needs a lot more work than Ryze.
Ryze is getting updated because his last update was a swing and a miss. In both his current and previous iterations he either completely dominated due to his overloaded kit or he'd be extremely lackluster. They tried to fix that with his last update by giving him clearer power gaps, but he's still too reliably strong. So, he's going back to the board for another round of kit changes that they think might fix the problem. He's going back in so soon because he's one of the basic starters and because they already have another direction for his kit ready.
DorkunedAuras1 votesBecause Ryze's rework is not a full VGU relaunch while Yorick's is. Ryze takes a lot less time because of that. They have separate teams built, so working on ryze does not slow down Yorick.
ViashinoWizard1 votesBecause the team working on Ryze is finishing sooner than the one working on Yorick, even though the Yorick team started first. Yorick just has a lot more work to be done.
