I just realized that Karma's Passive is Problematic...

So Karma's passive makes Mantra's cooldown go down every time you damage someone with auto attacks or spells. It lowers the CD of Mantra extremely quickly if you use AoE spells. With her shield's AoE damage gone, the only and quickest way to get mantra back off CD is using Mantra-Q. I think this in itself is problematic. It makes you only want to cast mantra Q so you can get Mantra back off CD quickly. I think the other Mantra spells need to be just as efficient at lowering Mantra's CD, or the entire passive should be rethought.

The new Mantra E is 100% unbeneficial compared to the old one regarding her passive. Every mantra spell reduces CD aside from that one now that the dmg has been removed. Might be nice to have it looked into. Maybe have shielded targets reduce Mantra CD as well. It'd help support Karma.

Her W ticks her passive 3 times on a single target. Unless the enemy team is actually clumped up enough to tag multiples with her Q, it's not strictly better; W makes it much easier to kill a target and E can save your team.

You do realize this is still a buff over all, right? Just because ult Q is the fastest way to refund her ult cooldown, doesn't mean that it would significantly affect her Ult choice, nor will it reduce the average length that her ult coolsdown.

Though you may just have explained why Riot decided to Butcher the Damage on the shield. It would have been to over bearing and preventing them from buffing the passive.

Q has short cd and can proc it multiple times even if not used with mantra.

But yes, mantra Q is the most effective way to reduce mantra cooldown but you have to use it at the right moment to get most out of it.

Karma got gutted. Her E shield in most teamfights does equal damage as R+Q overall due to positioning requirements but had a shield to boot, and the AOE made it so you could RE then RQ immediately after for huge burst.

Oh hey, finally someone that might see how broken a 3 second cooldown refund is! Nope. Complaining that empowered Q is somehow much better than empowered E or something because of the passive...

Why would this get upvoted? It's simple logic that the empowered abilities do drastically different things. No one has ever used an empower E because "it will reduce the cool down of my mantra so efficiently!" In a poke scenario using Q is optimal. In a 1v1 using W is most efficient. Saving an ally, engaging or disengaging a fight using E is most effective. Secondary to what the abilities do is the fact that an empower Q may reduce the cd of her abilities more.
