For non AoE dot fighters, is a suffice cape still good?

Champs like shy and Mundo obviously utilize sunrise cap really well but for other top laners like wukong, is sunrise cape still good over another likemail dead mans plate?

Is sunfire capes passive actually damaging? Does it noticeably help with pushing waves and deal damage during wukong skin ult, etc?

Imy kinda tired of building dead man all the time but I need some incentive to try out sunfire cape lol
