I have been playing with a lot trolls recently that cause us to lose the game. And when we try to surrender, guess who doesn't vote! I'm saying what should happen is that if someone doesn't vote, it should automatically be put as "Neutral" meaning the majority wins (Like 3-1 and 1 Neutral would work but 2-1 and 1-1 would not). This will cause people to actually click "No" if they don't want to surrender.
What do you think?

Some people (like myself) move the surrender vote asap because it is annoying as all hell to see and takes up viewing space. If more than one vote occurs in a game, I usually won't even notice that a surrender vote is occurring a second or third time until after the vote is over because of this.
Just not a good decision at all.

When you abstain, your vote shouldn't count, regardless of if you think it's annoying. Also, there is the case in which you have an afk or a troll.

If you would vote no, then vote no. Not voting shouldn't be an option.

I mean I can flip your argument around. If you would vote yes, then vote yes. Otherwise you obviously do not want to surrender.
I stand by what I said, people don't vote because it is easier to just ignore it and let the timer tick down then it is to vote no. At least it is for me because I move the surrender vote offscreen asap if it shows.

If you don't click your vote SHOULD count as a yes. Not to be rude, but do you realize majority of the player base is annoyed by people who don't click yes or no (when you are the deciding vote).
edit: Not saying I don't understand your opinion but I do want you to be aware (if you aren't) that it really is annoying for your teammates if you don't vote.

Well, what I base my statement on is that in my games when someone doesnt vote --- there is only one person not voting. and of that, only about 3/10 surrender games do I have someone who is that one person.
Based on this information it makes it a pretty small percentage (of people that choose NOT to vote), and this is basing off thousands of games. But I suppose the possibility that I'm wrong is still there, I would be interested to see a poll also.

SH Azykan1 votesBut then you have people like me, who never vote to surrender. I actually drag the box off to the side of the screen so it doesn't even pop up for me past the first one. You would essentially count my vote as a yes every time with this system which is completely wrong. I have won impossible games, and lost sure wins. you never know what could happen (4 of the enemy team dc'd for a full 3 mins one game and we pushed and ended while they only had their support left before. and I have had games where we lose for equally ridiculous reasons)
