CertainlyT's Champ Reworks have been a lot better than new champ creations. He did the Warwick update and that one was really solid, IMO
Akali's problem is how straight forward she is. When she can kill you she will kill you, when you can kill her she will never win. Her kit is on the wrong side of point-and-click simplicity.
if they were to make her kit less point and click, but change nothing else, she'd be utterly useless. So here's hoping they remove (or dial back) her simplicity with the power update.
If they don't, she will absolutely rape everything under the sun.
They give her a stronger laning phase in exchange for more conditional damage spikes.
They probably delay her burst in the same way talon zed LeBlanc and eve are when not ahead
They keep the stealth zone and some form of dash. The ranged q and self healing probably go away

She isn't making the LC$ big plays and only has 4 abilities; something needs to change of course
All five of her abilities change while in shroud, which is now larger and makes her immune to crowd control effects
Her passive changes to super shroud certainlyT power, giving her 50% dodge chance and causing her basic attacks to 12.5 %max health true damage (+6.25% per 100 AP)
Q changes from an aimed skillshot that marks targets to a tsunami that knocks all victims hit upward while still marking all of them
W becomes Twilight Cover, creating a near-sighted zone around her Q marked foes
E creates a clone that stays behind in the shroud while rendering Akali invisible (And Double Invisible while in the shroud), The clone lasts for 12 seconds and deals 120% of Akali's AD as true damage with its basic attacks
R stuns enemy targets for 3 seconds while in shroud, and can be cast on allied targets, including akali to dash to them, shield them for 25% of thier max health, increasing their movement speed by 20%, and giving them 40% bonus attack speed all for 3 seconds. Killing any enemy unit while in shroud or with R grants a stack of R.
