No Skill Champions

Most champs in league require some experience with the champ to be able to play them well or competitively (ranked) and then there's the champs that just take zero personal skill at said champion. Of course everyone will say people play those champs in lower elo and lose all the time but in reality there are two different sets of skills you need to play league.

  1. The ability to play a champion you have experience on.
  2. A understanding of the game and personal shot calling. A gold player may be just as good or better at a champion, lets say vlad, as a plat player but not advance because he doesn't have the same understanding of the game as the plat player so he makes plays that a smarter player would not make.

So basically as long as you have the second skill set (understanding of the game) then you can play certain champs that take little to no personal skill on that certain champion at a level appropriate to your elo without really having to put in the work at becoming good at that champ.

Some champs that I think fit this description are the following : MalphiteGaren MasterYiYorick Pantheon etc. While I am not claiming any of these champs are necessarily op, we all know that anyone could jump on one of these champions and do fairly decent. You may still get beat or lose, but that's not the point. I don't care if they aren't balanced or not but every champ should take some level of personal skill at that champ. (And yes, I know who cowsep is and that he is FAR better then the average Yi but that's not really relevant) Champions like Zed Riven Azir etc. I can actually respect because I know the player most likely actually put some work into learning that champion. Although someone could main one of these "no skill champs" and they may very well be better at the average player at that champion it is still not truly challenging for them to gain the experience. TLDR MAKE SOME CHAMPS HARDER RITO

No, we need some simple champions in our game. We can't just rework every single champion into a 10/10 difficulty champ.

Every champion that comes out is a kit jam packed with shit that they really have too much of

Pretty sure you will never run out of champions you can measure your dick against

It's good to have champs that fall along different parts of the tactics-strategy spectrum to appeal to different types of players. If you're the more calculating type who would rather focus on decision making and macro strategy then #lcsmechanics then there should be champions like those you mentioned who can operate at near full efficiency with a minimal relative investment in micro skill. However those champs should also be able to be beaten consistently by someone playing a high mechanic champ, as the high mechanic champs require more effort and art riskier to pull off.

Until you can dodge Caitlyn ults, Pantheon stuns or Veigar ults with Master Yi Q, you aren't mechanically good at Master Yi.
