Why dont we have a thread where players that are struggling can post their problem and get answers without being mixed in with other gameplay posts

How to be a relevant top laner in today's age considering: a) Rift Herald's insta-win for top b) the strength of the jungle role and how much influence it has this season c) The very limited meta top laner champion pool

Do you just have to roam? Do you just hope your team doesn't fck it up before you can participate in fights? I feel like top lane has been losing influence in the game for awhile now, it's part of the reason I stopped playing the lane.

well its quite simple really, don't play a tank and learn the jungle paths and timings of the most popular junglers so you know when you can expect a gank.

EDIT: also split push don't roam

A) Get someone with cc, easily accessible cc. I.E. Poppy. You can cancel the rift summon, and it isn't short.

B) If their jungle is on you alot, make your jungle go bot lane and get bot fed, they generally speaking have a higher impact.

C) Fuck meta, if you make it work, it works.

Even better: an entire subboard dedicated to asking for tips and clarification on gameplay mechanics!

Tobias Brackner2 votes

They should just ask that question in the overall gameplay discussion.

Warhammer Titan2 votes

They could, but gameplay is filled with other posts and it would be nice if they have a seperate thread for teaching.

The few threads asking about how to play a specific champion usually get 3 responses, all of them solid advice. I don't see what the problem is.

Warhammer Titan2 votes

Because its nice to have things organized, one for talking about the game and champions in general, and one seeking for advice

Tobias Brackner1 votes

What? It makes no difference to the person asking advice. They get their advice either way. It's just about as difficult for the advice giver since either way they either randomly find it at the top or decide to scroll down a bit.

The only person to stand to gain is someone who is neither giving advice or receiving advice and I don't see why we would care about them.

Why dont we put every post into the same thread? We dont because we have separate things for separate topics

Tobias Brackner1 votes

Thank you for agreeing with me?

Warhammer Titan2 votes

You dont even read what im saying, you're so blinded with your own opinion

Tobias Brackner1 votes

What?

You literally agreed with me.

You said we shouldn't put every post into the same thread.

My argument is we shouldn't put every piece of advice in the same thread.

We are literally saying the same thing. If this is not the case then restructure your argument.

Warhammer Titan1 votes

You were saying we shouldnt make a thread for people looking for help?

Tobias Brackner1 votes

And you were saying we should put all posts into one thread.

Warhammer Titan6 votes

Thats on reddit, not on league forums

I think this is a great idea, go check out reddit r/ summonerschool

thats where ive been going in order to seek help

Warhammer Titan1 votes

Yeah I use that also, but people who dont know about reddit and only use the fourms here it would benefit, but obviously summonerschool would be basicly the same thing

mr Boombastic7871 votes

I could use that!

Can we ask about individual champions? Azir escapes me to this day, I can never get him to do... well, anything. I have no idea where to even begin with him.

KitSun91 votes

Yo. I'm not an Azir expert or anything but here are some tips.

  1. Go TLD/Deathfire and go a Morello, Void, Deathcap, Liandrys, and etc. build in the begining. This makes him feel more like the average mage while starting out.

  2. Constantly poke and punish them.... Punish them whenever they try to go for CS and your Q is up.

  3. Be a little b***h stay in the back and only really start trying to go in if you have peel and/or your ult depending on the enemy team comp.

4)DON'T EVER TRY TO SHURIMA SHUFFLE IN A TEAM FIGHT THIS GETS YOU KILLED MORE THAN IT WINS YOU THE FIGHT. You can try this after getting more experience.

5)Position Like and ADC. You can often stand with your ADC and use ult to peel.

  1. If you can reliably do shurima shuffle then use it to obtain picks in lane or when sieging a few people, such as that enemy botlane trying to defend mid turrent.

6)Remember to watch yourself. You die more if you ogle at your soldiers.

7)And final tip.. USE YOUR TURRENT. That thing is a Godsend to slowing down the snowball ever so slightly or holding a side lane while you push mid.

Azir -Says hi

Cuz if you are losing to X as X you are bad at the game and need to get good scrub.

Typically how it goes.

They should make a subboard called "Query Den" or something like that.
