Let me explain something to the general league public

I know I'm not an angel player, I know I flame, I admit to it and yes, I have been banned on numerous occasions for flamming, but here is what's not acceptable and I think shouldn't be tolerated by anyone, and the fact that it is sickens me. I was just reading a post about how a dad had a 2 minute emergency and let his 6 year old daughter take his place for that 2-5 minutes or however long he was. His daughter proceeded to i guess you could say "feed" or die a lot of times. The top lane Nasus got a little frustrated and kindly asked for him (Ashe) to be reported, no flamming in this question was involved but instead of reporting him, they reported the Nasus. Even the dad didn't think reporting the Nasus was acceptable because it was HIS fault that they lost the game most likely and HE deserved the report. Instead of letting his daughter play , he coulda just AFK'd in base for a couple minutes and not feed the other team like crazy, but it was his choice to make that bad call. I am not saying the daughter is to blame I mean heck she's 6 years old, can't blame a 6 year old for feeding, but this seems to have a placebo effect on feeders where the feeder isn't being the one reported but the one kindly asking for him or her to be reported is however being reported. Wake up people the person asking for the report didn't ruin your game and you KNOW it, he was perfectly fine before they started feeding, probably not raging or anything. In this case according to the dad the Nasus was indeed not flamming...

Now here is where we get into something a little more debatable. This is something we call having an "Off Game". Let me ask since when does having an off game give you the right to feed that much? I mean seriously think about it. 17 kills in 20 minutes. You're practically going back to lane and just suiciding, and I have seen this before, and I have asked for people to be reported before not asking in a rude manner but more kind, and the response I've gotten on numerous occasions was "only one I am reporting is you", Is this really going to help the league community solve it's problems with feeders/trolls/intetional leavers and ragers? which usually an intentional feeder falls under 3 of these categories? Instead of reporting the person who asks for a report on a massive feeder how about we open our eyes and see that there is an actual legitimate reason for said persons distress....

TL;DR There is no such thing as having an off game when you feed 1 kill almost every 20 minutes, it's more along the lines of "I just don't care anymore", the dad had a legitimate reason to ask for himself and not the Nasus to be reported, and everytime you don't report a feeder you make the league community 3x worse than if you would report the person asking others to report a player. Now if it was a false call for a report that's different, but in this case it wasn't.

I'd be surprised if you have never died at least 10 times by 20 minutes.

This is a prime example, by the way. Was the 6 year old TRYING to die? No. She even got a kill, according to the original post. So why did she die so much? Because she had little skill and understanding, or more simplified, wasn't at the appropriate level for the game. And that's exactly what an off-game is, not playing at the level you are in, and should be playing it.

Really? That's what makes the community worse? Feeders? No. What makes the community worse is people who flame, multiple times, suffer the consequences, and are highly recidivist.

Well, the feeder is just going to get into another game, troll, and cause more people to flame.

Let me ask you something. If your way was the right way of going about it, why has the game become more "toxic"? Probably because it's the wrong way.

I mean I specifically said that the Nasus didn't flame, asking for people to report someone isn't flamming, it's #1 asking a question and #2 an honest question cause I mean technically it is against the rules to intentionally feed, it is not however to call someone out on it and ask for a report. Asking for a report is not negative behaviour, it is making sure that it does not happen again...

I consider asking for a report negative behavior. If someone is doing something clearly report-worthy it's usually pretty easy to notice. If you don't notice someone doing something then let everyone who did notice it do the report. If enough people report (and they will if it's actually report worthy) then your report won't be missed and it doesn't matter. Asking for a report is very likely to lead to fighting in chat which leads to all sorts of bad stuff.

Instigating chat fights is very much a reportable offense, and is one of the best ways to start a fight.

If you ask someone to report someone else you are guilty, period. Let people make their own decisions on who to report and not. Nothing gives a user a right to ask others to report someone, it's BM plain and simple.

Also, asking someone for a legitimate report is and never has been against the rules.

What "rules" are you referring to?

http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/legal/termsofuse - The only thing that is referenced in this is that the report system exists and that the tribunal will be used. So... what rules are you referring to?
