Let me inform you that Diana counters Katarina SO HARD. You'll out-trade her every single time. She tries to ult you? E her and watch her run for her life.

Anyone with an instantaneous hard cc or silence tends to shut down Kat's ult pretty well.

The problem is that most players forget this, use their cc/silence abilities on a minion, and then shortly die to Kat as she takes advantage of the opportunity.

People revert to bronze when playing against Kat. The matchup against her isn't too hard, save CC for ult post 6 and don't waste precious skillshot spells if she has shunpo up. So from what I see in games it;s not midlane having issues letting Kat get strong, but top and bot lane not warding properly rewarding her roaming.

Most mid laners counter Kat, i don't understand the problem with her. Even Viktor counters Kat. His ult cancels her ult. You throw your W and ur ult down on her and then she dies lol. Annie, syndra, ori, diana, viktor, zed, talon, yasuo, and ahri should all win lane against Kat.

Talon will still out damage Kat, he doesn't need his silence to kill her in lane.

Fizz, Cho, Velkozz, Vlad, Ahri if she doesn't blow charm before the shunpo, Fiora, Brand, Cass, the list just goes on. Kat's the hardest countered champ in the game, heh. People just fail to realize this.

Vel'Koz plays a dangerous game vs Katarina, but can indeed come out on top pretty easily if she doesn't snowball off roams. Azir works pretty well against her, and Malzahar hardly even needs to try to win that lane.

I simply get out of range of her ult, the problems with Kat's are that they are way to predictable

As Karthus, every time Kat tries to ulti me I just pop E and W and spam Q... If it's pre RoA I'll probably die as well, but if I already have RoA I can usually kill her before she kills me. Due to the fact that she's an incredibly easy target for Q and W when she's ulting.
