The delusional "Tahm Kench most balanced released champ since Vel'Koz" crowd are hillarious :^)

Tahm Kench is not balanced, he is extremely toxic and overtuned. Ranged slow, ranged stun, global ult that takes allies, provides escape for ally, cc for enemies, ranged harss and minion control, his damage scales with HP, so you can build him tank and do fighter-tier damage, he has the best shield/heal/tanky non-ultimate ability in the game that makes Ekko's shield look like a joke, which scales with him building HP, rofl.

Stay delusional, keep making "Tahm Kench so well designed and fun" nonsense threads, he will get the nerfs he deserves within 2-3 patches. He is sleeper OP, toxic and the strongest champ they have released so far, once people get a little experience with him and how to abuse him, you will see "nerf Tahm Kench" threads pop up daily.

Also, he looks autistic and is a fat ugly fish, the second worst champion they made after that absolute cancer troll champ Bard

Not upset, just amused and laughing at the delusional nonsense Tahm Kench fanboys are spewing.

Yes it is.

That is enough for a global ult, it scales with leveling it up too. It is funny how lower elo players try to tell me how the game works, I am diamond for a reason ;)

if you look at my lolking i was diamond the graphic prove it, i just decayed because i don't play anymore. so shhh

That's it's max range you ignoramus. It's not even close to global. 5500 is as big as it gets. It's funny how you suck at trolling and need to go away.

tank tahm might not be a problem. but i faced an ap tahm, and its not pretty.

his grey health shield and health regeneration makes him extremely tanky without even building much defense. so he can go all out on ap items and be extremely opressive. especially since his abilites seem to have a rather short cooldown. he can play like a poke mage who is tanky enough to survive a melee engage.

a rod of ages and a ludens was apparantly enough for him to win lane.

part of the problem are his passive stacks imo. they decay extremely slowly and only one at a time. so you cant just retreat after youve been hit by his poke 1 or 2 times and wait until you lose the stacks.

if they want to keep him as a tank, they might need to tune his ap scalings down and make his passive decay faster, so he cant just sit back and get stacks on you by poking.

Do you know what an AP/HP tank is? You can go AP/HP items, be tanky and do god damage. All his builds are broken and OP.

i dont know. the thing that really anoyed me the most were

a) that i had no idea how long it takes for his stacks to decay. there is no debuff timer on the ability.

b) how long it took for them to decay, since they decay individually. and each stack takes about 5 seconds.

it really felt like fighting a tanky poke mage. imo to be able to get 3 stacks on you he shouldnt just be able to sit back and poke. he should at least have to engage you in melee and auto you once or twice. right now its just too easy for him to get those stacks up. they should all decay at once imo. and we really need a time, to know when we lose a stack.

His ult isn't global

The ranged slow/stun are the same ability and to get the stun you need to him them 3 times first. Also that ability is a skill shot that stops when it hits an enemy. It is faster than blitz hook but still it won't go through minions and crap.

I agree his tanking is strong but that is the whole point of him. He has no mobility outside of his ult which can be interrupted with anything. Also the ult doesn't even do damage itself.

His ultimate does provide on-hit magic damage based on his bonus health, but that's about it.

Yeah I was more referring the the active portion. I don't really see his ult passive as part of his ult. Not even sure why that passive is there.

Don't completely agree with OP, but he has a point. I ran into one last night while jungling Irelia, he basically ran bottom lane solo, his ADC was an afterthought. I dueled it out 1v1 with him the whole match, basically, and the rest of my team left me to it since none of them could even stand up to him and he kicked my butt. They won, and I'd pin about 80% of that on his carrying ALONE from bottom. Yha, my team wasn't the greatest, but they did the best they could. He's not the same OP as zed, but he's out there, you'll find out. Gnar

I didn't have a problem against him with a solid Kali/Thresh combo.

Do you know why people think Tahm is balanced compared to other new champs? Mobility. That is the ONLY REASON. If Tahm had a dash he'd be broken as all hell, but because he's fat and slow aside from his VERY telegraphed and VERY interruptable ult, he's pretty balanced. Oh sure, his stats and utility are very strong... In the age of Kali and Yasuo, they need to be.

You don't like Tahm because he's tanky enough to survive a few seconds under attack by one of these hyper-mobile DPS monsters while he licks them, and then eats them alive. Well, tough luck! If you wanna dash around everywhere like a rabbit on speed THIS is the kinda champ that you get to deal with. Have fun and cry more.

i have no problem with his tankyness. his shield does seem pretty excessive, but every tank has some sort of defensive steroid.

the problems start, when he builds damage. after the ap rework, its pretty easy for him to stack a lot of hp and ap at the same time. it makes him pretty damn tanky with his shield and health return.

plus, his abilities seem to have pretty good ap ratios, and his spit and his tongue lash have a lot of range. in lane he can literally play like a really tanky ziggs. he just keeps poking and poking at you. and if you try to engage he eats you and has his shield available.

i think this would be less of a problem if his passive stacks wouldnt decay so slowly. he has it easy to stack them from range and keep them stacked up. so its hard for you to find a window to use the fact that hes not building tanky and all in him without getting eaten.

the only times ive been able to kill or threaten him myself was, when he got overconfident and pushed too far into the turret, either getting killed in jungle ganks or taking too many turret shots, that even his shield didnt help anymore. but not every tahm is going to make mistakes like this.

What is it with people like you that think everyone who isn't mobile is fine no matter what is in their kit. Being immobile does not mean you're well-designed. Why would anyone hate a champion because "they're tanky"? I hate Tahm because he is simultaneously immune to poke and extremely difficult to all-in, while making his ADC immune to all-in. There is no ideal thing to do against him, whether you're playing a hyper-mobile champ or not. He is designed to negate everything the enemy team does in the laning phase outside of poking his ADC and he can devour his ADC any time they'd be poked for a significant amount of HP anyway, but he's also designed to be able to do everything to the enemy. He can poke them, all-in them, zone them, tower dive them, enable other members of his team to tower dive them (saw a Kat get a triple with 20% HP under enemy turret, then get saved by Tahm yesterday) and also 1v1 them (literally saw one 100-0 a Jinx yesterday, and this was Tahm SUPPORT).

He's not balanced and you have no idea what makes a champ balanced or not. Never have I seen a champ so void of weaknesses.

I like him a lot, and he's not frustrating to play against in the way that release ekko was. But as much as I hate to say it, I at least partially agree with OP: I think he's overtuned at the moment.

The only thing that really surprises me about his kit is the cooldown on W. It's an extremely fun and interesting ability, but 10 seconds just seems very low, given all the power it has.

I mean, for your allies, it's basically a mobile zhonyas on a 10 second cooldown. Against your enemies, it's a massive single target nuke that takes them out of the fight for 3 seconds. It's an extraordinarily powerful and versatile ability.

If nothing else, this guy is going to be insane in arranged 5v5.

Hi, TahmKench Tahm main here. Heard you were talkin shit.

All those things are true, but you forget a lot of things. 1.) Ranged slow, ranged stun: Elise, Vel'Koz, Xerath, Bard, Ekko Janna, Nami, Braum, Singed, Syndra, the list goes on and on. 2. Global ult that takes allies that has an even longer channel time than Pantheon's and also has horrible range until lv. 3 3.) Escape for ally, oh, ok, so Zilean, Kalista, Orianna, Bard, and Sona are all OP? It has a long cooldown that can be abused by lane opponents and also requires good timing. It also is a huge: "WE ARE SCARED OF YOU" alert to enemy, signaling that he and his lane buddy don't want to fight you. It also requires good timing to pull off correctly. Have you ever eaten someone before the blitz hook or elise stun hits them? Harder than it sounds. Much easier against Naut or Thresh hooks, bc those are more telegraphed. 4.) By 'cc for enemies'' I suggest you look at nealry every champ in the game. It is very situationall powerful, but it requires 3 autos/qs to even work on an enemy, and that being on a slow, immobile, not atk-speed focused tank. 5.) There's this really nifty thing in the game called zoning, maybe you should look it up. If you're refering to him eating minions to spit, do realize that hurts his ADC's cs more than yours. As for ranged harass, practically every mage in the game's Q. 6.) Braum. Gnar. Titanic Hydra. Sejuani. Shen. Dr. Mundo. Vladmir. Volibear. Other champs deal damage based on enemy's health. Amumu. Elise. Vayne. Fiora. Gnar. Ekko. Fizz. Brand. Gragas. Garen. Kalista. Malzahar. Maokai. Kog'Maw. Sion. Zac. Vi. Renekton. Nasus. Warwick. 7.) WOW! Tanks can that deal damage? Like who? Sejuani, Zac, Malphite, Darius, Renekton, Nasus, Jarvan IV, Braum, Vladimir, Hecarim, Olaf, Galio, and Gnar to name a few. 8.) Which is the only shield that falls off and denies him valuable bonus HP regen.

Also, slow, immobile, and lacks engage or reliable CC. But hella fun and fuck it, he's the River King. Bow down or be consumed.
