As ADC, I make a deliberate effort to praise my Support.
There are many threads detailing how futile a Support feels; many people who complain they don't play Support because it "won't let them carry" and they feel "subjected to the whims of their team." That Support is the red-headed stepchild of the role equilibrium, appreciated only by its own players and scoffed at by others.
But as someone who regularly plays ADC (one of two main roles), I make a point of attributing all my successes to the Support insofar as bot lane goes. I also have never once blamed my Support for any failure in the bot lane, because everyone has a bad game sometimes, and sometimes people aren't swimming in comfortable waters. I may have thought to myself that "awdnba9d2" (how the fuck did that sneak in there?) the Support isn't giving me the support I need at the time to succeed, but if I were truly good then a few failures don't mark me a terrible ADC, or them a terrible Support (despite what people want me to believe when bot goes bad).
If bot lane scores two kills, I make sure to tell my Support (s)he did a good job. I even ensure my team knows it's because of the Support's nicely aimed and timed stun, especially when they tell me I did a good job. I just followed a lead and jumped on an opportunity someone else created. Using the opportunity is one thing, I think it's more praiseworthy that someone created that opportunity out of nowhere to begin with.
I am convinced that whatever success I book in the bot lane is dependent on the ability of my Support, and am loathe to believe there are such ADCs who succeed at bot lane all by themselves, with their Support being absurdly bad (unless the opponent is so absurdly bad they let you 1v2 them).
There are calls to Riot to change the Support role to make it more rewarding, and as someone who only occasionally plays Support I don't feel qualified to opine whether or not it is rewarding (though I find Taric insanely fun and Soraka very rewarding). But I do feel qualified to suggest that, as players, we all make an effort to appreciate the impact a good Support has on the lane dynamics, and indeed the rest of the game.
When Zed ults my Lucian, I know I survived not because I used E at the right moment to dodge most his damage, but because my Support is there with an Exhaust, even a shield, or just their presence to deter further aggression. I know I'm alive in teamfights because my allies are disabling the enemies, and because I can count on the Support to be there with peel and disables to dissuade the enemy from succeeding.
Really, I think if we as a community were more inclined to give Supports the praise they so rightfully deserve when they masterfully win the bot lane, then Support would be a more fun role to play.
Riot can't force the community to be more appreciative of the impact Supports have on our games. We have that power, though.
Tell your Support today how much you appreciate their ability to let you farm while they dissuade aggression from the opposing lane.

awhile ago since really 1 bad ADC ruined my mood to support for a week and i moved to ADC now im back to support but repicking up
but still playing
if you can set up plays for your team then you got it and nobody admires a god tier bard but admires the ADC who went 13/2/9 while bard goes 2/5/29 . They just mainly say goodjob bot so its kinda the same tbh .. either way im not that good of a league player
