please do something about surrenders and getting S+ through S-

i'm facing a issue of i cant seem to get my final S on Darius for mastery 7, i get fed, i help get every objective as in, i took two drags , rift herald and helped take 5 turrets i had about 116 cs but they surrendered the second it hit 20 minutes, the issue now presumes to be that if i get fed i snowball my team and the enemy surrenders so how do i get mastery 7 if the matches i do great in don't last long enough for me to get the crucial S ranks

i would think that the grades only compare similar game lenghts, but i would not be shocked to find out they dont

How about you get to gold first then worry about the mastery 7?

It's actually easier to get S ranks the shorter the match is; I almost always get an S rank in my 20 minute wins no matter who I'm playing. Match length is definitely a factor. And it works the opposite way as well; getting S's is really hard in very long games no matter how well you do unless you go 25/0 or something.

The rank system wasn't intended for grinding like a WoW skill or something. It's something you get as a reward for playing games.

You get the mastery by playing the game because you want to play it, and eventually getting mastery as a side effect.
