I think its a good idea. Put some damage back but make him actually use his other abilities instead of just being a backline Q spammer like he was with the AP galio build.

Galio needed a bit of a tap though, since the hotfix over nerfed his Q damage he's been rather weak though not in the dumpster so this could help him esepcially in laning b/c he loses a lot of laning power b/c of his semi global team dependent ult.
