"Whataboutism" is not a valid argument for why mage changes are bad

I'm not saying that mage changes are good, but I'm seeing a lot of threads going "Why aren't ADCs getting nerfed along with mages?" or "How come mages are gutted but not ADCs?" Just because one thing is getting nerfed does not mean something else should be nerfed as well. The argument for ADCs should be nerfed along with mages is saying since one person got sick and cannot go to school, everyone should get a day off.
