Unhealthy trend in league!

Every new champ especially tanks have some form of %HP dmg. I find this lazy design by Riot to make tanks still deal dmg without need to build damage items. But when i see that same dmg on bruisers and assasins like Fiora or Vayne etc i ask myself how is this healthy for the game? Since when is exciting to play vs true dmg %HP vayne and be unable to even build against it. Or to play versus %HP physical or magical dmg , some examples item 3153 item 1419 Gnar ... Its not exciting to itemize or play against it not cause its too op but cause its just lazy design. Instead of really thinking about numbers you just get item or ability that deals consistent damage through all game since its percentage HP and not flat. I feel like there is no growth fantasy to feel rewarded for buying damage. You just buy item 1419 and item 3153 and you are ready to go full tank afterwards to still deal damage even to tanks!

This feels like a gross over generalization in terms of how tanks have to be built, riddled with inaccuracies, and potentially some salt, if I'm reading this right. This feels like more so the case, since you're just mentioning a jungler item for the Gnar, and no top lane equivalent.

In terms of true damage, the very point of its existence is what it does. You play a risk playing a champion that reserves some of its budget for true damage, and you play a risk trying to fight those that do have said true damage.

i didnt mean that gnar is supposed to build that item i was saying about gnar W passive ability that deals %HP magic damage.

It is basically a neverending cycle

Tanks are too weak -> buff tank items -> tanks are too strong -> more penetration items/champions

It just gets more and more extreme
