question about input buffering

Lets imagine I am playing Twisted Fated and the enemy has Master Yi. If I have a gold card and an enemy champion is out of my aa range, If I click on him he will be stunned when he enters my aa range. But if the enemy is Master Yi, and he exists from his alpha strike in my range (he was not in my range before alpha), will I gold card him or not?

Thank you in advance for your answers

I think, and I'm not positive on this, but I'm fairly sure the command gets cancelled when somebody leaves vision or when somebody becomes untargetable. It's like if you try auto attacking a minion and your character will walk towards it, but you lose vision on it and your character will just stop.

Like the other person who responded I think (not 100%)that in the instance no it would not gold card him because yi actually disappears from the map entirely when in alpha strike. You can see on the map that yi is not anywhere on the map. I doubt that the lol code can carry over a command from when a champion disappears from the map. It would be like inputting a aa on a champion just before they revive and expecting the command to still execute.
