Move your chat window over your minimap!
Bonus tip: Reducing the chat window size when over the minimap size makes it unreadable. This increases your honor level and winrate since you don't reply to trolls and focus on gameplay.
In result both chat and minimap become unreadable. 10/10

i don't even read chat, i would just see someone trolling and wondering wtf is going on, then i have spend time scrolling thru the chat

Well you know when you are losing lanes or have trolls/flaming ones just mute all and be happy... works for me.
