So why do people make it almost a point to not be carried? What's the mindset?

I'm sure we've all had a game where we were doing really well to the point that the enemy team has to bring 4 or 5 to kill you.

You look at your team and they are chasing scuttle and fighting over it.

You win team fights several times and your team goes ultra ham diving that last remaining person by their nexus.

Call them out on it? "Hey man, it's a team game. We're all at fault!" Bullshit. If you want this to be considered a sport then realize yeah you can lose the game for your team and it may just be you.

If someone is carrying then let them carry and work with it. Stop going full retard.

Maybe you know people like this or maybe you're one of them. What's the mindset here? Is it the realization that you're being carried and your ego can't take it?

Who really wants to admit their own fault? I blame it on the concept of "face". Who wants to feel like they were worthless and not good enough to win without others? So, they blame others.

According to super magical rainbow sunshine friendly Riot Games and Lyte asian guy dude, it's always a team effort and no one's fault anyone ever loses. Every game is winnable and yet somehow the magical gods of reality and probability have to decide one team loses and one team wins. And we're led to believe that it's always OUR fault and NEVER anyone else's fault. So remember, if you lose, it's not your team mate's fault it's your fault.

And if we're on the same team, it's my fault we lost. But for you, it's your fault we lost. Get it?

They want to feel good and look like good people, so better put the blame on someone else. Rewards? Oh, I did it! You know, they want the spotlight. Also explains why many people hated supporting because they "don't want to get carried".

You know, just people being people.
