Dear Riot... canceling solo queue is a stupid move.

Solo players don't want to queue with 3-4 man premades so we're basically forced to play dynamic queue so it'll work..... (your own words)

What does that tell you about how successful your dynamic queue system is? "It only works because we force people to use it" yeah great job there.. If you introduce solo queue and it ruins your dynamic queue that means the dynamic queue is crap. If "teams and team play" is so damn important to you then make it so the premade needs 5; otherwise the solo player is effectively just entertainment for the teams.

Because gosh I love the prospect of playing ranked games I have little control over... it sounds so much fun.

PS - Lyte should be fired post ethics investigation.

They did not cancel solo queue, goddamn. They just pushed it back while they focus on fixing the more current issues with dynamic queue. After that they're gonna assess if solo queue is something that will contribute to the game enough to make the time and effort worth it.

Riot is a company, and a company needs to make the best and most effective use of their assets at any given time. Sometimes that means passing on something because while it might be nice, at the moment it's just not practical. Right now they're focused on fixing the problems with the queue type that's already been implemented, rather than working on a new queue type that could take months to work on and implement while also leaving the issues with dynamic queue unattended.

In a perfect world Riot would be able to do both, but this isn't a perfect world so Riot has to make due with what it's got, and we have to deal in the mean-time.
