I made this thread in GD; however I think it belongs here too (Competitive talk/Informative talk)

People see league at face value; however there is much deeper things like minion waves objectives spawn timers and rotations to ganks/objectives Red/blue buff is also objectives that can be rotated to...

Microing and Macroing The ability to control your character in a 1v1 and see what's going on around you with teleport/mapawareness and where you should be

how the game goes and what you should be building... waveclear so you can get objectives or what??? teamfight- understand your team comp and what you are capable of doing in a teamfight... lane swap for dragon pressure, or ability to force a fight

ability to react with teleport or rotating to fights

csing is a big deal for microing and how to take the least amount of damage, so you can be useful at all times of the game, or beating your enemy laner.

-Pathing and knowing what you can flash over/dash over or not (depending on certain champs)

warding and ward sweeping is a big roll and catching people with lack of vision on objectives is a big deal too

knowing when your team is most powerful is also a big deal.... BUUUUUT THERE IS SO MUCH MORE THAN WHAT I AM SAYING HERE

how to survive lane phase matters and what to build and how to react or not to react to things your team does.

I think it's important to notice how the enemy team react and play around you and your play style, you can tell when a gank is coming, or if someone wants to all in you in lane.... or if you can catch/gank someone

Positioning in your lane and teamfights for objectives matter example (You know pantheon/otherchamp insert here can ult in the middle of your team and you have want to be as open as possible knowing this fact and how to counter them when they engage)

Pathing on forced pathing and enemy options on their forced pathing... example> (Ezreal throws a Q, so the enemy tries to dodge and where do they have to go to dodge that skill..

Wave management comes to an important thing also...<<<<<

one thing that goes for wave control and an example... Annie doesn't want the minion wave to hit her tower; however she wants it close to her tower and ziggs wants to shove it in so he doesn't over extend so he will try to bomb the wave non stop to shove that in; however annie can sit behind the minion wave and zone him from doing this and even initiate a fight by zoning him from the minion wave.

P.S.- Read the damn patch notes and know what items are strong, so you know what to build lol

LEAGUE OF LEGENDS is like a huge chess game it's good to know your options and to know moves ahead of time.

Most people think it's all about winning the lane and scoring pentakills, which is why most people will stay in bronze and silver forever. I've said it numerous times, being just a bit smart about the game will at least get you to gold.

Bump/Re/Edit: Percentages and numbers matter, when your auto attacks are dealing x amount of damage and so what does that do to the minion/ enemy laner and all of your attributes lifesteal vs what their kit is...

Long story short, it's good to know your damage and what you can out put and what the enemy can do by a rough estimate, so you would know if a trade is worth it or not... or you might die

most of my deaths in a 1 on 1 fight actually come from missed shots and not misjudging damage I'm dealing/taking or the enemy is dealing/taking
