i don't think 90% of the playerbase is below gold

most of the time people have at least a decent grasp of pathing by the time they get to gold

Have you watched streams? Do you realise how many high elo players even skip kruggz? Its because it takes so fucking long to clear with all the pointless animation not to mention its bugged as hell!

it's not that they "ignore" kruggs, they skip over it on their initial path. after tiamat or bami's cinder, kruggs get included in their clear. kayn sometimes even ends his path on the enemy kruggs, then starts his second path on his own

I feel like kruggz is more of an "extra" camp. things people take because they have nothing else to do on the map.

because it consumes time that players aren't willing to give. With smite it takes roughly 15 sec in the early game, so imagine taking that without smite.
