Internet Troubles and bugsplat

You queue up for a game of ranked and are confronted with high ping. You brush it off and continue to play, but then everything stops you begin to attempt to reconnect. When all is back a minute has passed you are behind and your team is mad but then the game closes and you are confronted with the bug splat page. You continuously reconnect just to crash or attempt to reconnect and your team loses. You lose lp but there was legitimately nothing you could do. Why is it fair that you and your team must lose lp for a bug causing you to crash. I feel if a report is submitted in the big splat page it should at least lower the amount of lp you lose due to the fact you were helpless and could try to play your best but the game itself turn against you.
