Support Champiom Mastery???

I just read the Patch Notes for patch 6.13 and was suprised to see that champion mastery for supports wasn't in there. On a post from Riot they said they knew Supports were having trouble recieving S's in game because of how it is calculated.

I guess this question is more meant for a Rioter than anyone. Anyways, is the ward experience and the item buffs suppose to be the help supports need to get the S? Cause if so Thank You! but if not what happened? Did you decide its actually not that bad? I just want to know im feeling a little gimped since I saw nothing about this topic in the Patch Notes.

Changes to Support grades in Champ Mastery took a bit longer than hoped unfortunately. Current prediction is they should be in 6.14 instead though.

The experience level difference needs to be adjusted , but I'm in bronze and I get S grades all the time as support so I don't really know what you mean by it's hard? I have had a few S games on Blitzcrank Nami Morgana at least, as well as others who don't show in my inventory as I don't have enough essence or whatever i need to unlock level 6 for those ones yet.

that's not to say I always get S ratings just that if I am in bronze and can get an S rating on all of those champions, either I'm in the wrong rank or the rating system is a bit weird.

My duo just got level 7 Nami last night, in about a month and a half after I did on Lucian, I feel bad for him

I'm so sad. 2/0/20 Nami with most wards, most healing. A+ Meanwhile I've gotten S+ with 0/5/35 on Soraka. I honestly feel cheated with how the support masteries are :/

As far as it goes people still do not understand how the champion mastery system works. It is based off of the average grading of that champion in your region. I.e Nami will have an average of 2/2/25 and 35 cs for an example. Get a certain percent over that and you will have succeeded. The biggest issue that lies in supports is that a lot of games you will be lucky too get over 30 cs, and when you do, you might have only gotten 1 kill. So you may go 0/2/44 and 50 cs as Nami , but you haven't succeeded the average kill count, and as a result, do not earn an S. There are times in which having exceedingly high Assists compared to Kills will override that statistic but it's all face value. This is one of the reasons why Sona's have the highest success rate when it comes to Earning S- and further rankings. Due to the fact her kit allows for accidental kills of CS and Enemies now and then.
