Champion Mastery Proposition
Hey, I was sitting in Calculus when I had a sudden epiphany when I was thinking about how hard it is to get mastery 7 on certain champions.
My idea was that if in the post game lobby screen each person on the team had an opprounity to boost one persons end game mastery slightly. I'm not saying that it could heavily swing the out come. But small enough to where if you got an A+ and three ppl on your own team boost specifically you it may push you to an S-.
Now this allows not only your score to effect your mastery but also your mindset and plays you make in game because your team has control over it. If you are making massive plays but dont get much pay off, such as a Tank that is always initiating but ends up dieing but his team wipes and wins the fight. Or a support that sacrifices themselves to save a carry. Or a Jungler who gives most of his kills to the carries. Only the people in the game could possibly notice and im pretty sure the algorithm doesnt. In addition to this, this could decrease toxicity cause even if you are good if your toxic your team will more often than not never boost you.
To balance this only your own team can boost you, It doesnt boost by much, each player only gets one boost, a player can straight up boost no one and leave the post game lobby, and players who you are in queue with cannot boost you (this removes abuse from friends and also encourages solo skill).
I just want to hear people opinion on this. It sounds nice to me but if someone is able to poke holes in this or add something that makes more sense please do. Any response is accepted happily :D
P.S. Just finished typing and using the word boost may send the wrong message XD
