Patch 6.9 changes lifted a really relevant contraddiction that needs to be addressed
Reading through 6.9 patch notes, I've noticed how you pointed out how spell vamp has gone from the game, and you could finally rebalance
because of it
Heck, you not only mentioned WoTA removal but also opened the Hextech Revolver explanation with this paragraph
> Heading into our upgraded Hextech weaponry prompts an important question: why is all the spell vamp gone?
BUT...
Spell Vamp IS NOT completely gone from the game
There are still champions and items that employ it and are balanced around it, the most famous example being
and her passive among champions (but also Akali, Lee Sin and Ryze benefit from spell vamp in their kit) and
among items (but also Maw still has it unless the changed went not mentioned in Maw paragraph) + spell vamp is still granted by the Vampirism mastery
So...what is going to happen to the remaining pieces of the Spell Vamp system that are still scattered around in the gameplay dynamics of league after the removal of Spell Vamp system itself?
Will the reminiscences of the gone spell vamp system that are still in place stay untouched because the actual champions are balanced around it? Or will they soon be eliminated and the champions compensated for the loss in power that it would result from that? Or the situation would remain unchanged until these champions will be eventually reworked in the future?
and the dodge system), but it is also possible that it could be eliminated and replaced entirely
