Aphelios is difficult, but he needs his numbers gutted.

Unpopular opinion, but I think Riot did a pretty good job at expressing what they wanted to with this champion. He’s all about creativity, deciding quickly on the spot, and experience. I’ve gotten him in Aram a few times before and didn’t really need to think much about anything to nuke everyone, so I didn’t understand in what world he’d be “hard”. I wanted to try to get the most out of him today, and to be fair, now I hard disagree with anyone who says he’s easy. This thing really is difficult, certainly will have a sky high skill ceiling, and I’d even say he might be one of the most creative champions in the game. This is what should shine about him, but right now, he’s a bit like Akali after release. Do whatever, profit. If he just blows whatever load he has, he shouldn’t get a double and get out alive, but die, like a Katarina would if she mindlessly dashed around. He has a unique, interesting concept, which the numbers completely kill and make trying to play around it properly a choice. They're terrible on him for this reason. Make him useless when he's not doing what he's intended to be doing.

Hardest part is memorizing the various ranges and Qs

R is always the same R, the rest is just autos

luckily he just got hit hard with a ton of nerfs, so we should see his dmg plummet and his wr as well (hopefully, LOL)

people who want champions to be "gutted" shouldn't be talking about balance at all
