Edit : As my thread stated , it's just what i observed lately. Not calling Riven to be all like this, i just stated how i see Riven player so far . Be upset all you want, i just shout how i end up when i face a Riven or is matched with one.

Stamporion2 votesRiven most definitely does take skill. If you see a first 10 games Riven vs a Riven player who has played her for seasons, the difference is huge. If a Riven player just spams and doesn't do the fast combo and weave in autos they will not win laning phase.

I strongly believe Riven takes skill to play I believe upon acquiring that skill she's overpowered as heck as compared to someone investing the time to acquire the same amount of skill so to speak if skill can be quantitatively measured, on another champion, like let's say Yasuo I believe the reason behind this is her reward vs effort put in curve is much much steeper than other champions. I believe the reason for this is largely due to her kit being completely overloaded. But this is no excuse to discredit or write off the efforts High elo Riven mains put in to mastering their champion.

I still will and am right now. Riven is one of those champion that shouldn't be allowed to snowball period. If you say she is hard, how come she is still favored by most player under diamond ?
Stamporion1 votesI've found that snowballing as Riven takes more skill to use to her advantage than learning her mechanics. You can't just go in 1v5 or even 1v3 most of the time. You have to make plays with your team and find opportune moments to go in. If you go in whenever you see an enemy you are going to lose.
In gold, Riven is 53rd in pick rate. How is that most players?
