I hate early game champions, here's my explanation on why.
Most of which are in the current meta, they are designed to piss you off and make your team want to surrender when that's always what they're WANTING you to do. Because we all know that if we don't let them get fed they are useless throughout the entire game. This is what bothers me. Of course whenever I play those champions who are early game I can't win because no matter how many kills you get, if you don't end the game within 30 minutes, the game is pretty much over for you, making those kills you got fed off of end up not being worth it. This is why I don't surrender because I like playing champions who have a "chance" for the late game, not by playing a champion where I KNOW I can't carry a 1v9, no matter how fed the enemy team is. I don't want to feel rushed like that, I want to play a champion when if you DO get kills out of skill, not just because you're playing an early game champion, that that will give you a lead that will be useful for the ENTIRE duration of a game, not just for the first 30 minutes. I've experienced this way too much that I'd rather play champions who are either late game or at least that gain consistent damage through the game.
I just had this game yesterday where I picked
and I'm Silver 5 and the other team picked
and he was Gold 1 (gee, thanks riot). No, not as an ADC, he went to the mid lane. It was completely triggering seeing this troll-like face...

walking in complete circles dealing 200 damage auto attacks while I couldn't even land a single Q since he naturally dodges every attack you throw at him. Besides, I know what you're suppose to do, you're suppose to play defensively, but how can you play defensively against this psychopath who spins his twirling windmills and can 1 v 1 any champion under turret once he reaches level 6, you can't. Once it said "KILLING SPREE," I was done, I knew I wasn't going to win against this broken piece of shit who doesn't even let me farm so I wen't up to the top lane and got fed off their top laner because our top laner was just as toxic as how much tilt was inside me.
I began building
,
, and even started with
as my first item because I DON'T CARE IF I BUILD THE OTHER THINGS, If I already died 4 times, I'd rather start with an item that nearly guarantees them death than try to kite them away from me when you can't kite a ranged champion.
Guess what, it worked.
Every time this mad house of a champion approached me, I'd flash right on top of him hit R+W and use my hourglass forcing him to flash away and use his heal. I repeated this process until we eventually won the game.
I'd rather play champions who have a balanced early game so people who play the meta don't complain about them and have them eventually get nerfed than play a champion that's not hard to deal damage at all. I like progressing and know when I can kill someone easily for the rest of the game with the items I have while NOT being
and ult a
for the 30th time and all of a sudden you can't kill him anymore because he can go full crit and be unkillable in the late game while you can build triforce, two items and HAVE to go tank because you're an early game champion that doesn't scale well in the late game while
does.
I want to play those champions where people are like "oh shit, he deals A LOT of damage". It's like playing
and dealing the same amount of damage as
with just
while he has 3 or 4 items already, and
will only get more powerful the more items he builds.
, just put 2 much preasure on all lanes, an feels kinda bad when u are vs one of them because ur jungler cant react properly till midgame, letting u on a 2vs1
sometimes team fights galore isnt always the answer. In higher elo it seems like those early game champs do a lot better because they know how to press the advantage and just flat out win at 25.
