@Meddler- Galio's Taunt vs Scuttlecrab

I noticed in a Normal that I recently played as Galio that his [W]: Shield of Durand, does not affect Scuttles in anyway. Unlike Shen's [E]: Shadow Dash or Rammus's [E]: Puncturing Taunt, Scuttlecrab will continue on as if all was well if Galio decides to try to taunt it. Was this intentional or was it just left out unintentionally? Honestly just curious.
