Message to Riot's Player Support Team

Just wanted to let you guys know you're doing a Fantastic Job. With some of the cases I've seen & even with some of the ticket's I myself have opened, you guys are extremely professional & are some of the most helpful people I've spoken to.

I have to disagree. While they are always polite(to the point of not looking human), they tend to not read the entire ticket and make assumptions without checking facts, which leads to providing blatantly wrong information and misleading or confusing the player.

They are also very limited by Riot's policies in a way of what they can or can't do, up to the point of inability to solve many cases or answer a wide range of questions that you can reasonably expect to get answered in other games.

I used to work in shared hosting support and I know several people who are tightly connected to bank support. Stuff like that would unacceptable in these spheres on multiple levels, but, I guess, is fine in a F2P video game.

Does it mean that support is good and deserves praise?

No. The support is bad. From what I've seen, it's really, really, really bad and something as standard as Blizzard support incompareably outclasses Riot's one.

I'd like to agree. Earlier in the summer I was trying to get my rockstar account back that was hacked into by some russian boys and I't took so many long days of argueing with there support team. Then the other day I bought 25 dollars of rp and it charged my twice. So I opened a support chat and got refunded in less than 30 minutes. Compared to other companies you are doing a great job

RIOT Support has been nothing but helpful for me in the past. Whenever I sent in a support ticket, they were always quick to respond and talk to me about my problems.

Yeah, I'm going to heavily disagree. My friend's account was perma banned with 1 single game in the report card on his first offence for arguing with someone in a bad match. Never did he get a chat restriction or any ban before this as he was only playing for a couple weeks.

1 SINGLE GAME. FROM LEVEL 1 - 29!

He had to contact Riot and they apologized and said he was wrongly banned but COULD NOT REMOVE THE PUNISHMENT. The only thing they could do was lower it to a 14 day ban, like wtf?! If that's not incompetant I dunno what is.

I've also been chat banned after 1 single game recently when telling someone to hang themselves after they trolled my whole game with their duo and told me im bad, to kill myself and etc all game. Oddly enough I was the only 1 out of the three to get a chat ban. How does that even make logical sense to selectively only punish 1 person?

TBH, I loved this company until they decided to go SJW.

It just depends on the issue you're having.

Any time I've ever gotten a 10 games chat restriction in the past 8 years of playing league, they didn't help me at all.

They usually all give a fairly copy pasty response after they give you a response on what was said wrong and afterwards any reply will always tell you "We can't remove any punishments on your account" "we are going to mark this ticket as closed".

For example when I said I didn't know the R word was considered negative regardless of context after the rioter said "using ablest language such as "retarded" contributes to a negative atmosphere" I said I was unaware and could I just get a warning instead (as I called a champion and item the R word, not any actual players) they than gave me the typical "We can't remove any punishments on your account, we are going to mark this ticket as closed".

There account recovery team also seems to be lacking greatly, considering riot themselves got compromised you would think they would help more players get their accounts back, one guy gave the date the account was made, the original email, the RP card number he bought at store for the account, the dates those were purchased and gave them his card details that were used to buy stuff on the account before, the IP address he had and they still couldn't recover his account.

But on other issue such a login issues, questions, bug reports they have done a great job.

Nothing but bad experience with them. There never able to answer question that I ask or they just full on lie and when you have a complation about someone all they say is ow there nothing we can do.

I have also had times, when they do decide to help you they dont read all of your message and I have had to reply back over and over again because there unable to reply to all what been said.

There has also been time where if they cant be bothed to help you they will just close the ticket so that they dont have to help you.
