Nunu Champion Update Concept

Let me open up with that I don't believe that this will get any forwarding at all. It's a concept I came up with a while ago and I put some more thought into it, and I think it'd be a pretty great way to amp up Nunu.

As it stands, Nunu is a very "meh" option for both jungling and support, as he doesn't provide what other junglers are currently providing. He's an old champion that fit in with an old meta.

Obviously Riot has plans for other champions first, but here's a little something I came up with to give the yeti and his rider some attention.

[Passive] Wrath of the Yeti Prince Every 30 seconds, Nunu's wrath conveys itself upon Willump, causing his next auto attack to deal 10/30/50 (+3% maximum health) true damage to the target on hit, slowing them for 5/10/15% of their movement speed for 0.50/0.75/1.00 second(s). This passive upgrades with your ultimate ability.

Additionally, Nunu's wrath leeches the might of large jungle minions, permanently reducing the cooldown for the passive down to 8 seconds. 1 second for every large jungle minion, 2 seconds for dragon or Baron.

[Q] Snowball (For the sake of regular button usage, Nunu's 'Ice Blast' has been moved to Q) Passive - Nunu builds a snowball every 10 seconds (reduced by 0.25 seconds every minion kill, 1 second for large minion and large jungle monster kills)
and may hold up to 3 snowballs at a time.

Active - Nunu hurls a snowball towards the target area. Enemies on the outside of the impact are slowed for 25/30/35/40/50% of their movement speed for 1.25 seconds. Enemies who are hit in the center are slowed and gain a stack of "Shivering Agony".

Enemies who reach 2 stacks of Shivering Agony are stunned for the duration instead, and for 3 seconds afterwards, Nunu's attacks on this enemy automatically refresh his passive for his next auto attack. (This means it won't apply every auto attack)

(The range would be about double what the current Ice Blast range is. The area would be very small, about the size of Teemo's Mushrooms hitbox).

[W] Bloodboil

(The previous changes to automatically recast towards allied champions/units if he casts it on himself would be reverted)

Nunu empowers targeted allied unit, increasing their movement speed by 15%/20%/25%/30%/40% for 4 seconds. If Nunu had casted the ability on himself and got a kill or assist in the duration, all allied champions around him gain buff for half the duration (including himself!)

[E] Consume

(I was unsure what would be done with this, since the flat true-damage thing is kind of a dead mechanic. I wanted to give some incentive for maxing it second or even first, but not something so great that it would make Nunu insanely powerful.)

Willump eats the targeted unit, dealing 80/130/150/160/180 (+10% of Nunu's maximum health) in true damage if it's a minion, or in magic damage if it's a champion. Also applies on-hit effects.

(The cooldown for this would be long, probably 25 seconds level 1, and 9 seconds level 5.)

[R] Rite of the Yeti Prince Nunu channels for 0.75 seconds, and, after the duration, supercharges himself with 30% movement speed for 10 seconds. Every second, a ring of frost blasts out from the Prince, dealing 80/100/120 (+40% ability power) magic damage to all enemies hit, and slowing their movement speed by 60%, declining over 2 seconds.

[LORE] Lore could be some sort of Tarzan/Jungle Book/Ice Age styled lore, where Nunu was a lost kind in Freljord and the Yetis took him in and he became their prince, yadda yadda. This could make for some good references with quotes and jokes, et cetera.

The entire point of this is to keep Nunu as a utility jungler, but also give him some aptitude as a support and tank.
