Forgot smite so I cant play the game as a jungler?

How is that fair? Out of god only knows how many games I have played as a jungler, I forget smite ONCE. And because I got distracted for a bit before the game I am basically precluded from jungling. I could kill the monsters, sure, but I cant gain ANY freaking xp from them. Way to pidgeon-hole people into playing the game how you want them to riot. Maybe instead of railroading people you should balance the numbers on your items so people wont be tempted to bring challenging smite or bloodrazor to lane and ruin your perfect little vision of how the game should run?

THey made it that way because you could abuse the new jungle items back in season 5. They didn't want that, neither did the players. Was and still is a good change.

If you forget smite you'll be behind because you won't be able to buy jungle items, which makes you get less xp from camps.

I don't really know why jungle items have to be a thing to begin with.

You forgot smite, thats a mistake on you bro, you cant just complain about how riot is forcing you to play somehow just because you cant accept the fact you forgot it and your game sucked because of it. smite is necessary to keep junglers jungling, without it whats to stop a laner from getting all the perks of being able to jungle with no strings attached

It sucks, but you should just afk and let your team remake as a jungler if you do this.

The reason the smite requirement is enforced is because of the current jungle enchants being pretty greatly gold efficient, and when it wasn't required to build the jungle items (back in Seasons 3 or 4), the items would either prove to be too efficient a purchase on lane champions (the AP jungle item was the go-to Spell Vamp item in Season 3, for example), or just a noob trap (which all of the jungle items became in Season 4).

Smite requirement lets them keep the gold efficiency, but not be considered for purchase on laners (unless they sacrifice a summoner for the item, like with item 1413 on its launch in Season 5). They should probably make item 1041 and item 1039 buyable without Smite, but then you have to sell them to get rid of the gold funneling prevention debuff.

If anyone without smite can take a jungle item they'll be able to get double experience from jungle camps and people will take it and start starving their junglers of their camps. Then junglers will then complain that they can't get the gold and experience they need to be viable in the game. It sucks, but unfortunately it has to be this way. It's way more frustrating to be starved of gold because your laners are stealing your camps rather than you got invaded.

If you make a mistake you need to be punished for it, if i miss smite on baron and the opponents steal it and win the game i'm not going to come here and complain smite damage needs to be increased, no my mistake deserves to be punished. You say somewhere that you still won the game, therefor if you can win without smite in the jungle doesn't that mean you aren't getting punished hard enough, i've played games as a smitelees jungler and i can tell you that it isn't fun or easy but it is managable if you are good enough to make it work.

Also look at this meta compared to last season and then re-asses your comment on riots perfect vision for the game.
