Theres a special place in hell for these people

Not sure if you guys have ever encountered them, but I have, many times now in the years i've been playing. These are the people who go to all chat and plead with the enemy team to report you whilst spouting lies and vitriol. "Please report xxxxx he called me the N word!", when you haven't spoken a word edge-wise to them. Its bad enough with all the actual vitriol being spewed every single game without conflating who is being a horrible person. Honestly this makes me more upset than actually talking trash to me. Trash talk, I can take. But maligning my name with lies really gets to me. I wonder if riot looks upon that more critically than regular trash talk? Probably not, knowing riot and their predisposition to ignore context entirely. In addition, I firmly believe that the amount of reports you get in a single game actually matters. This is just anecdotal evidence; but one of my accounts was only banned after a 4 man premade all reported me at once. So this surreptitious technique just artificially inflates the amount of reports one would otherwise get. Anyhow, thats my rant. Does this utter bullshit happen to you guys?

{quoted} I firmly believe that the amount of reports you get in a single game actually matters.

It doesn't. You either get reported or you don't.

I've seen this happen. If someone baits you into getting banned in whatever way, you can send a support ticket and Riot will unban you and ban the baiter. (If it truly was a bait)

Actually RIOT has stated, Constantly spamming for reports on players IS A REPORTABLE OFFENCE. Meaning while they are making FALSE reports against you, the fact they are lobbying for reports on players is something THEY can be reported for. If someone is doing something reportable, you do it -SILENTLY- Spamming the chat, all-chat or otherwise, with "report X for...." falls under harrassment and is a reportable/punishable offence in itself. So when they do that, You report them.

When someone spams in /all chat "Report X for ....." I report the person calling for the reports, not the intended target.

If there is a God, I would hope he scoffs at how ridiculous and petty this type of problem is.
