Where did my rank border go?

In ranked you should have a border based on your rank, but in order for it to show in normal games you have to select the ranked border. In your icons menu you can see on the left that there are two options, a level border for your icon or a rank border for your icon, you have to select the rank border in order for the border to actually show in norms, urf, aram, etc.

the loading screen changed. you need to switch your profile from your level to your rank.

The new loading screen is live on EUW now, which means your border is now your current rank. No more border as end of season reward, instead it is always up to date.

For some it might be sad as they spent the last season climbing to a certain rank to get that border, but for most it will be better or won't make any difference, as their current league will be the same as at the end of last year, or even better. Additionally it gives great motivation to keep going and climb even more when you see the results instantly in the loading screen.
