Hello. With the new alcoves in the preseason, I think having some of skarner's passive crystals in the alcove would be a fun thing to add. He could gank the lane that has control of his passive for the extra move speed and stuff if they get close to the alcove, and it would give the side lanes a little minigame of trying to take control of it every once and a while. The little indent in the center of the alcove, nearest the middle bush, would be a great spot for it.
Even though it'd be a cool change, I think it might be a double-edged sword toward Skarner. It would mean giving the enemy 15g every couple of seconds when they constantly re-capture it, and when they do, it'll reveal anyone in the bushes (unless I'm mistaken? I rarely see Skarner and don't play him at all).
It'd be great for him, but it'd also give the enemy invisible power (and his team as well), which may hurt his team's lanes in the long run. :x Imo anyway.
Pls no. The spires just need to go. Having 2 more things on the map that the enemy can benefit from would just be bad. Not to mention Riot would end up nerfing Skarner for their presence in the lanes. Rework, no spires please.
I would just start playing skarner top lane if they did this. I would love the change!
I thought he was meant to be a jungler. He's also the least played champ in the game right now.
While I would like riot to add spires to the alcove, it probably should have come with a larger rework that chooses to keep them.
