5.22 Patch plus Buffs to Select ADCs

With 5.22 underway, the preseason starts to hit players hard. Getting used to the changes will take a while but it's all part of the process to get ready for Season 6. However, there are a lot of problems that exist with the game currently. Like many will say "Riot broke the game officially." I'll start with the ADCs that have been buffed.

Graves: His Q does too much damage at levels 1 to 6 for no reason. First off, his initial damage is a good balance like the Graves before his changes. Initial damage: 60/80/100/120/140 (+0.75 bonus attack damage); However, the detonation damage scales the Q damage way out of proportion which leads to ADCs like Jinx, Ashe, or Sivir, to recall after getting hit once or twice. Which leads me to the explosive damage scaling listed below;

DETONATION DAMAGE 90/155/220/285/350 (+0.4/0.6/0.8/1/1.2 bonus attack damage)

I understand that Riot is trying to make Graves feel comfortable because of his high damage early game but in my honest opinion, the Detonation damage is too high. If I want it to be balanced, I would like the damage to be 80/145/200/275/335(+.4/.6/.8/1/1.2 bonus).

Now moving on to Quinn...

Quinn: The champion that now lets you fulfill your dreams of being either a NASCAR driver or Sonic the Hedgehog. She is a fun champ to play BUT is broken out of proportion because of her ultimate. Quinn's ult now summons valor and lets her pretty much have homeguards as long as she wants until she gets either hit by another champion or wants to attack someone. That's not fair. When I saw that Quinn could have this:

TAG TEAM MOVEMENT BONUS 70/100/130% total movement speed, she can easily initiate fights and runaway if shes low because by levels 6, 11, and 16, her ultimate becomes increasingly strong because of the cooldown and cost.

COST 100 mana ⇒ 100/50/0 mana COOLDOWN 140/110/80 seconds ⇒ No cooldown

Yes, Quinn is good as a mobile champion because that's what Quinn is supposed to do. But I believe that the mana costs should be higher because of the high risk, high reward philosophy that if you ult to go super fast, there needs to be a sacrifice(ie: Kassadin's Riftwalk). I wish the mana costs would be changed to 375/250/125 and the cooldown to be reverted back to the original which were 140/110/80 because it made sense and was not spammable. The last thing I wish for Riot to do is decrease the tag team movement bonus because it's unfair to champions that have no escape (ie: Blitzcrank, Ashe, Jinx, Kog'Maw, etc..) since they will be instantly killed by move fast Quinn. I would like for the changes to be this:

Movement bonus: 55%/85%/120%.

Kog'Maw: So I don't really have a problem with Kog'Maw but the only thing I don't like is the 100% bonus when activating his W to become a gatling gun that shoots toxic ammo at enemy targets. Yes, his damage is low, and yes, he takes time to scale up but Kog'Maw's damage will never be able to hit a "power spike" if games take 25 minutes to complete. If Riot changed his attack speed bonus from 100% to 75% and buffed his early game a tad bit, that would be fantastic.

Ashe: After Ashe had a perfect balance of having enough damage per level and having the Freljord spirit, Riot decided to nerf her...again. I don't even know what to say to this because now she feel really weak. She feels like Ryze's early game and when they decided to nerf Kassadin 7 times in a row because he felt too 'OP' despite sharply weakening his damage output. Please buff her back to original state please :L .

For the ADCs, I'm done ranting about them because I don't see any other ADC have problems like the ones stated above.

Well, that's it. These are my thoughts and I would like to see what everyone thinks. Whether you agree or disagree, this preseason will be an interesting one and I hope either Riot will be able to fix the things that I've stated above or change something entirely to balance out the games that we play whether it be ranked or normals.

Graves: Yeah because 10-15 damage is the issue here

Quinn: You obviously have not played this patch very much. Quinn has a two second channel on her ult and reverts back if she takes damage. She definitely cannot use it as an escape in a team fight unless she finds an area to sit in for 2 seconds and fly away without taking any damage.

Kog'Maw: He has the same premise as vayne is supposed to have. Super weak early game and super powerful late game. Riot probably won't change that just because of the way his W operates. If they gave him early game power his W would still make him insanely strong late game and he would have no weak areas.

Ashe: I agree here. Ashe is garbage right now

Ashe really does feel terrible =( Relegated to stun bot with Crystal Arrow. Even other adcs have more utility than this Riot-proclaimed "utility adc".
