But how can Riot acutally do it? I mean if they implement it the rest of the season will be people feeding their way back to the bottom. Maybe not though, tell me what you think. Alot of people would probably feed their way to the bottom and ruin the ladder. And if they soft reset everyone else then people will be upset they lost their (actually earned from their skill) rank.

What do you think, is it even possible to implement solo Q without ruining the ladder? I'm sure this is but I'm not sure how, comment below if you know.

Disclaimer: I prefer solo Q, I do not support DQ. I'm just pointing out that Riot may not be able to do anything because they screwed up so bad.

You can turn it on with the flick of a switch. Just like they did the first week of the season when DQ was glitched. They need to flip it so this bs stops happening:

You can flick it on, but all the ranked games would be horrific. Everyone would likely lose because you would feed your way back to your correct place. Maybe thats what we must do though.

you can't fix a system thats about personal skill when you an simply ignore that and use other ways to rank up. such as communication or getting high elo smurfs to boost you. i mean. communication should be an option. however. its an advantage. also palying with familiar people is easier as you know what to expect from them

I'm not talking about fixing DQ. I'm saying it may not be possible to switch solo Q on without ruining the ladder for a while.

As it is a team game and there are ways to communicate within the game... It is an advantage that one should make use of. Individual skill is meaningless in team environments. You can be the best quarterback in the world however what does that matter if you and your team can not work together to keep you safe long enough to pass the ball? What if your receiver is not able to pick up on when you are passing to him and not another? Personal skill is measured in statistics which riot gives you the option of looking at, even by champion! Yet no one cries oh but in football every player should be put onto a random team every time!!!

What about Season 6 rank is "earned"? Its an **INDIVIDUAL **rank in a GROUP ENVIRONMENT. Its completely meaningless.

Ranks in Season 6 are meaningless because the ranks are assessments of INDIVIDUAL skill, but are being determined in an environment heavily influenced by GROUP INTERACTION.

The rampant boosting only adds to the problem.

I see what you are saying, and if people did feed their way to the bottom because they were boosted, thats the way it should be. Im less worried about the ladder because youll have the people at the bottom who will climb up

RIOT painted themself into a corner. They realized they cannot have the two queues side by side after they had promised to bring back SoloQ and they can't switch it out this late into the season. What i think they are trying to do now is fix DQ and if they can't get it fixed by s7 they will bring back soloQ. They wouldn't dare say it at this point though.

DQ as a whole was a good idea, terribly implemented. The ability to queue for positions was the obvious next step to move league forward, and would have been perfect if thy combined that with solo q. Also, this late into the season i really dont think there is much they can do to fix DQ, aside form limiting the number of people in premades, but that would just make it like the old solo q.

Edit: Oh yeah, i think the badges they are rolling out are hilarious. Like a badge that anyone can earn with 25 wins will fix the system?

What you're talking about is the new champ select, NOT dynamic queue

How are there seriously people posting on here who still don't understand the damn difference?
